ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, THEATER OPERATIONS
SCHEDULE: Flexible Hours
SALARY RANGE: $48,000-$61,250
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
- Knowledge of theater operation, staff management and accounting principles.
- Ability to understand all contractual, accounting, ticketing, concessionary, and theatrical operations.
- At least three (3) years of experience in theater and/or event management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to administer procedures for Director.
 
DUTIES:
 
- Oversee daily operation of theater.
- Oversee the Technical, Administrative, Box Office, and maintenance staff for Theater Operations Director.
- Administer details of events. Supervise all event activities and execution by various theater personnel and concessionaires.
- Report on all areas of theater operations including but not limited to renovation projects, maintenance upgrades, company purchases, vendor relationships, and staff performance to Director.
- Maintain accurate records for statistical reports on revenues, audience attendance, payroll and promoters.
- Support and carry out the contractual arrangement as prepared by Director.
- Review on weekly basis all upcoming show files to make sure that the required payments have been received.
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of show settlements and Box Office accounts reconciliations.
- Provide personal on-site assistance and support to promoters and resident presenters at their event.
- Report any accidents or incidents.
- Oversee and implement the technical labor procedures to ensure compliance with the union contract.
- Update and maintain all theater displays for events, provides information for calendar of events, writes copy and records messages and events for concert line.
- Determine all event date changes, rescheduling, and feasibility of double-date bookings.
- Provide development for staff including office, box office, backstage and front-of-house.
- Maintain accuracy of marquee, web, and all print information.
- Oversee all contractual, accounting, ticketing, concessionary, and theatrical operations.

FRONT-OF-HOUSE MANAGER
SCHEDULE: Flexible Hours
SALARY RANGE: $33,500-$42,250
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
 - Knowledge of fire regulations and safety house rules.
 - Ability to recognize audience temperament and react appropriately.
 - Knowledge of overall operations of valet parking and security police coverage for theater safety.
 - Knowledge of traffic control.
 - Knowledge of and ability to administer procedures for Director.
 
DUTIES:
 
 - Oversee the usher, valet, security and concession for the Theater Operations Director.
 - Check quality of theater maintenance. Check all areas of the theater; doors are unlocked, lights are operating and all areas are cleaned approximately two hours before show time.
 - Report on all areas of theater operations to director.
 - Represent the principles of management.
 - Support and carry out the contractual arrangement as prepared by Theater Operations Director.
 - Coordinate the opening of the house with the promoter, ushers, technical crew and box office.
 - Prepare the house and staff for intermission and timely return to event schedule.
 - Prepare reports on the event statistics.
 - Report any accidents or incidents.
 - Obtain house count.
 - Be prepared to serve all disabled persons.
 - Be alert to loud disturbances from inside or outside the auditorium.
 - Tend to the general comfort and safety of the theater and its patrons.
